What makes BLOCKER different from a normal blackout blind?
A normal blackout roller may use opaque fabric while still leaving gaps around the perimeter. BLOCKER is designed as a made-to-measure system that also addresses light at the edges.
How do I measure?
Check the usable recess depth first. Then measure the internal width at the top, middle and bottom, followed by the internal height at the left, centre and right. Record everything in millimetres. Our measuring guide walks through every step.
Why are there three width and three height measurements?
Window openings are often slightly uneven. Multiple measurements identify the narrowest width and shortest height, so the blind is not made larger than the available opening.
Do I need to make a deduction?
No, not unless BLOCKER's product instructions explicitly tell you to. Enter the exact measurements requested and allow the manufacturing system to apply any required fitting allowance.
Can you check my measurements?
Yes. Send photographs of the window, recess and handle together with all six measurements and the usable recess depth, and we'll help you check the fit before you order.
Are BLOCKER blinds made to measure?
